1. Who We Are

TitleBoost ("we", "us", "our") is a tool that helps YouTube creators write better video titles before they publish. We operate the TitleBoost Chrome extension and the website at titleboost.io. Questions? Reach us at hi@titleboost.io.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• YouTube title text — the title you type into YouTube Studio, submitted to our API for analysis and scoring. This text is processed transiently and is not stored permanently.
• Account information — if you sign up for a paid plan, we collect your email address and payment details (handled securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers).
• Usage counts — we track how many AI boosts you have used in a given day to enforce free/paid tier limits. This is stored in our database (Supabase) linked to your account.
• Basic analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated page-view data (no cookies, no personal identifiers).

3. Chrome Extension Permissions

The TitleBoost Chrome extension requests the following permissions, and nothing more:

• Access to studio.youtube.com — to read the title field on the YouTube Studio upload page and inject the TitleBoost UI alongside it.
• Network access to titleboost.io — to send title text to our API and receive analysis results.

The extension does not access your YouTube account credentials, your video content, your channel analytics, or any other page outside of YouTube Studio.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To analyze and score your YouTube titles.
• To generate AI-powered title improvement suggestions.
• To enforce free/paid usage limits.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To improve the service through anonymous, aggregated usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — handles payment processing. Your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — stores account and usage data securely. Data is stored in the EU region.
• OpenAI — processes title text to generate AI suggestions. Title text is sent to OpenAI's API; it is not used to train OpenAI models under our API agreement.
• Vercel — hosts the application and provides anonymous analytics.

6. Data Retention

Title text submitted for analysis is processed in real time and not retained after the response is returned. Account and usage data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hi@titleboost.io.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi@titleboost.io.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the TitleBoost Chrome extension or using the TitleBoost website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

TitleBoost is a tool that analyzes YouTube video titles and provides a "hook score" along with suggestions for improvement. The Service integrates directly into YouTube Studio via a Chrome browser extension. It is intended for use by YouTube content creators.

3. Free and Paid Plans

The Service is offered under two tiers:

• Free plan — includes 3 AI-powered title boost suggestions per day at no cost.
• Paid plan — includes 30 AI-powered title boost suggestions per day for a recurring subscription fee as listed on our pricing page.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to the paid tier will continue until the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Use the Service to submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates YouTube's own Community Guidelines.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service without our written consent.
• Use automated scripts or bots to send requests to the TitleBoost API.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of the TitleBoost Service is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the YouTube titles you submit — by submitting titles you grant us only the limited, transient license necessary to process and return analysis results to you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that title suggestions will improve your video's performance or click-through rate.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TitleBoost and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party platforms including YouTube, Google Chrome, Stripe, Supabase, and OpenAI. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Use of the Chrome extension is also subject to Google Chrome's Terms of Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
